Thoughts and other stuff of interest to me, if not you :)

I've just installed the lasted free version of Object Dock and note that the weather docklet is 24 hours behind. So what this means is that when the 5 day summery icons pop up, today is labelled 'tomorrow', and 'today' is yesterday etc.

Is there a fix for this or is it a known/new bug?

Where are you located?
on Feb 05, 2008
Melbourne, Australia -> thats is also exactly how the location is entered in the docklet also.

The same situation occurs on my configuration also

Istanbul, Turkey

But someetimes it shows the correct order and sometimes not...

I think this is a A.M P.M time zone issue...

Thanks for your help...

For the free version this is a known bug. This bug (and more locations) was fixed and updated in the latest beta build of Plus. Until a full update the free version will not have these updates made available. My apologies for the trouble.

However if you do like the software I highly encourage you to purchase the Plus version. The add-ons are well worth it. Just ask anyone here.

I have purchased the plus version and I also have this problem. I am in Birmingham, AL in US. Today is Friday but my flyout shows Today, Tomorrow, Thursday, Friday, Saturday...

I have this problem too.
At first (on Wednesday) I think the problem is that we are one day late. But now the real problem is that we are stuck at Tuesday aaaaaaaaaaaa time won't move, we are doom.

PS: I don't think this is a bug of free version. I have a friend. He has objectdock plus v 1.9 build 353u (this is the latest, right?) and he has this problem too.

I have a slightly different problem using objectdock plus 1.90

Today is Friday, but the weather list shows: Today, Tomorrow, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Is this a "feature" i.e. showing today/tomorrow/weekend(sort of) or is this a bug?

I can't replicate this problem. I was able to log into Birmingham, AL and see the dates correctly. Just to be sure are you guys on 1.90.026 or 1.90i[b].020?

If you are on the latest beta try uninstalling, restarting, and reinstalling/download again just to be safe.

So not only me but many people has this Tuesday stucking problem, even the plus version. I'm considering purchase it, but well, not sure now.
@Seabass: I have a question. If I buy the current version, when a newer version come out, can I get the update or I have to buy more? Because I don't see any update option in objectdock.

I use Stardock central to keep my apps current.  It'll check to see what's new and ask if I want to update.  Very cool.

If you pick up OD+ you will be good until 2.0 comes out.  You'd hae to pay for that upgrade.  But . . . 1.(anything} is a free update.

It's a great app and well worth the money.

Updates at this time would be free for you when you purchase Plus. Only a massive update to the next big thing for Object Dock would require a new purchase. Example: CursorXP turned into all new CursorFX. ObjectDock would have to turn into Super Shelf Thingy!! not Object Dock 1.98. I don't know what the plans will include for 2.0 but for now that is how things work around here. I would say that I am 90% sure that 2.0 will be a free update to Plus owners.
